Need a new RA/FA/AB build
Hey guys, I've been playing with my rit in PvP and got bored with my current build which is
spawning power 8+1
restoration 10
communing 12+3
[skill]pain[/skill][skill]shadowsong[/skill][skill]wanderlust[/skill][skill]displacement[/skill][skill]union[/skill][skill]life[/skill][skill]spirit light[/skill][skill]boon of creation[/skill]
From running this build I get a 50/50 win/loss ratio due to the whole long casting time and interruption hate but it is rather funny to watch all the warriors charging into shadowsong's range and then get hit with wanderlust while I play monk for a little bit.
Anyways I was thinking of using a build surrounding weapon spells and so forth. Any suggestions would be helpful

I haven't played my Ritualist in PvP much yet, I'm still trying this:
Spawning Power: 3
Restoration: 12+1+1
Channeling: 12+1
[skill]weapon of remedy[/skill][skill]wielder's boon[/skill][skill]mend body and soul[/skill][skill]weapon of shadow[/skill][skill]ancestors' rage[/skill][skill]warmonger's weapon[/skill][skill]life[/skill][skill]protective was kaolai[/skill]
Of course, when in RA you'll have to substitute something for a rez. And I guess for AB it would be better to have some speed in your build, so a running skill from the assassin is good I suppose.

Attributes:
Channeling Magic 12 + 1 + 1
Communing 11 + 1
Restoration Magic 6
Armor:
Minor Channeling Rune, Minor Communing Rune, Superior Vigor Rune, two Runes of Vitae, Radiant Insignias.
Weapon:
Insightful Channeling Staff of Fortitude with a +5^50 energy inscription.
[skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill][skill]Wielder's Strike[/skill][skill]Painful Bond[/skill][skill]Anguish[/skill][skill]Union[/skill][skill]Vital Weapon[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]
I've been running this in RA lately and it's been pretty fun. gotta watch the spirits and energy management is key too, but I've done pretty decent with it so far. I never seem to get a good combo of classes in RA, but when I have other competant players I tend to do well.

Don't play spirit spam. Seriously, just don't.
The best hard rez for a ritualist in RA is [card]Flesh of My Flesh[/card]. You can't trust your teammates with [card]Death Pact Signet[/card] in Random Arenas.

I like running Rt/R with [skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill] and [skill]Volley[/skill] and other interupts. it can be quite fun. throw in splinter weapon if you have some melee members of your party too.
Edit:
hmmm... wonder why Volley isn't in there...

Yeah I like FoF for PvE, but its use in RA is kinda iffy.

the GvG Rit Runner builds works wonders in AB. you got good condition removal, nice speed boosts and nice utility. Splinter+Ancestor's>AB
especially with all those Hundred Blades Warriors and Avatar of Balthazar Dervishes... not to mention it adds some dmg for all those terra tanks that are pounded on endlessly by the opposition

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad,
IMO it's good.
Just slow that's all.

In AB there is 1 build that PWNS all.
If you play it well, assassin and warriors that attacks thinking they are all that, will soon turn around and run the other direction or die if they are idiots, your group members will love you and your group can kill anything.
1. Weapon of Remedy
2. Vengeful Weapon
3. Ancestors Rage.
4. Wielders Boon
5. Mend body and soul.
6. Splinter weapon
7. Life (Can be changed for something else if you prefer)
8. Dash
CODE: OAeiEyi8gtJeez4p0EjNOngA
I tried with superior resto on the head, or channeling head.
It does not really matter, the build rocks no matter what you do.
I been offered guild invites with almost every group I join with this that stick together.
try it.. let me know

Better not die though. Support isn't good without teammates to support lol.

For ra, although technically hb builds, they still are quite effective.
[build prof=Ritualist/Necromancer][Caretaker's Charge][Essence Strike][Bloodsong][Mend Body and Soul][Spirit Light][Blind Was Mingson][Rip Enchantment][Resurrection Signet][/build]
[build prof=Ritualist/Necromancer][Pain][Shadowsong][Mend Body and Soul][Spirit Light][Blind Was Mingson][Corrupt Enchantment][Defile Defenses][Resurrection Signet][/build]
For ab, as long as you have [Ancestor's Rage][Splinter Weapon][Weapon of Warding] on your bar, everything else is pretty irrelevant.
